Charging truck MSZ-16 is intended for transportation of nonexplosive components (emulsion and gassing agent) of water-resistant emulsion explosive “Sibirit”, water ring solution and manufacturing of emulsion explosives by means of their mixing within the process of boreholes charging at the open pit mines. Total weight of components to be transported is 16 tones. Vessels for components are to be mounted at the weight system.
Truck configuration may consist of one of the following triaxial chassis:
-MAZ-5516 and its modifications;
-MAZ-651705 of cross-country capacity with axle arrangement 6x6;
-KamAZ-6520 and its modifications;
-URAL-IVECO 6529 (6329);
-Scania P380CB6x4EHZ.
Truck may be constructed using tetra axial chassis MAZ-MAN or Scania. In this case truck will confirm standards as a truck with full loading and meet requirements of the Regulations of large-dimensioned and heavy goods carriage.
Diameter of the boreholes to be charged is not less than 76mm. Depth of the boreholes is up to 65m. The processes of emulsion explosives manufacturing and boreholes charging are automated. Truck has doubling manual control.
In order to reduce emergency situation consequences emulsion vessel of the truck has smelting hatches and bursting disks, automatic control system does not allow overrunning the parameters of technological process over allowable limits.
