‘NITRO SIBIR’ AO designed a range of underground charging units for drivage and stoping.
The MP-1600 underground charging unit is used for the storage and transportation of the non-explosive components of the emulsion, and for the manufacturing of the specific emulsion explosive ‘Sibirit-700Ш’® or ‘Sibirit-800Ш’® directly when charging boreholes in underground mines which do not pose a danger from gas and dust. The unit is mounted on a multipurpose vehicle, but can also be installed on an analogous chassis.
The MP-1600 is intended for charging horizontal boreholes with an incline of no more than 5 degrees, with a diameter of 36 to 76mm and a depth up to 6m in the course of sinking, cleaning, or mining operations.
The main features of the underground charging unit are:
1) Fully automated control which can reduce human error during use;
2) Shielded construction of the major components and units;
3) Regulated initial density of the charge as well as the amount of the explosive being delivered.
NITRO SIBIR AO manufactures not only standard models of the underground charging units but also offers underground charging units designed and manufactured according to the specific conditions of the Client’s underground mining operations, including:
1) Mounting underground charging units on self-propelled chassis for mining and mine rails;
2) Producing underground charging units not only for boreholes, but also for longholes, both with hydraulic and electrical drive, which allows for the selection of equipment without the extra cost of re-equipping the pit or mine.
