Tank semi-trailer ADR 17-1 is intended for transportation of aqueous solution of ammonium nitrate (AN). The tank semi-trailer pulled by a tractor unit is allowed on the roads of any category in compliance with the requirements of the Guidelines on transportation of large and heavy loads by auto truck transport on the roads of the Russian Federation. The aqueous solution of ammonium nitrate (80-93 weight %) transported in the tank semi-trailer is according to GOST 19433-88 classification referred to class 5 subclass 5.1 UN number - 2426. It is allowed that in the solution be admixtures of up to 18% of sodium nitrate and calcium nitrate. The solution is not flammable, it is an oxidizer. The weight of the transported solution is 22.7 tons. The tank has thermal insulation, liquid heating system and can be equipped with a pump. The drive on the pump is either hydraulic or electric. The tank has three 500 mm diameter hatches.
Tank semi-trailer ADR 20-3 is intended for transporting by roads of all categories fuel oil products (UN code 1268) and aqueous salt solutions: diluted solutions of nitrates (with a concentration of 30%) and nitrites (with a concentration of 10%), i.e. oil phase (mixture of mineral oil with emulsifier), gas generating agent and water spray solution. Total weight of the transported solutions - 22.5 tons, which includes oil phase - 10 tons, gas generating agent - 3.5 tons and water spray solution - 7.5 tons. The tank has thermal insulation, an oil phase electric heating system, an oil phase extraction pump with electric drive, a system for pneumatic displacement of gas generating agent and water spray solution. The tank has four 500 mm diameter hatches.
