The international conference dedicated to the achievements of NITRO SIBIR during the past 25 years was successfully held on the 11th June 2015.

A significant part of the event was assigned to discussion of the prospects of further development of the company at the Russian and foreign markets.

The conference was attended by over 200 Russian and foreign participants from a number of organizations, such as: Rostechnadzor, NOIV , "UMMC ", Company OAO UK “Kuzbassrazrezugol”, Mining Solutions, Sberbank Northwest, VZRYVISPYTANIYA ,Nacionalnaya Nerudnaya Kompanya, OOO “KUZBASSRAZREZUGOL – VZRYVPROM”, ZAO “NPP Altayspetsprodukt”, OOO “Karelprirodresurs” IVKHIMPROM and many others.

The conference was opened by the Chairman of the Board of NITRO SIBIR ZAO, Ph.D. Evgeny Zhuchenko on the topic: “Main directions of the development of NITRO SIBIR Group of Companies”, from which the participants learned about the history of the formation of the company, as well as about the priorities and the strategies for further development.

The report of the Head of the Rostechnadzor Department of Mining Supervision, Aleksandr Filatov - “Actual problems of industrial safety in the production of blasting at mining enterprises of Russia” highlighted the urgent problems related to industrial safety at mining enterprises of Russia and ways of their solution.

Up-to-date and comprehensive report of the Technical Director of NITRO SIBIR ZAO, Ph.D. Valerii Ioffe -“Competitive advantages of the NITRO SIBIR ZAO Technology” was listened to with the great interest and was followed by a number of questions from the audience. The specialist of international level in the field of mining- Roger Holmberg presented an entertaining presentation on “NITRO SIBIR ZAO’s Software Programme, developed to calculate the optimal parameters of drilling and blasting operations” in which concentration was on the innovative features of the NITRO SIBIR ZAO’s development, causing a lively debate on after the speech.

A lot of attention was paid to the latest overseas projects of NITRO SIBIR – NITRO SIBIR Australia. General Director of NITRO SIBIR Australia PTY Ltd Ivan Zhuchenko and his Australian colleagues Tim Fry and Mariana Kaker, presented a report on “Industrial and logistics center NITRO SIBIR Australia PTY Ltd and the scenarios of its further growth”, which familiarized the conference participants with the experience of the creation of production in Australia and the particulars of doing business in that region.

At the end of the report, the speakers answered numerous thematic questions from the audience related to the use of innovative technology, developed jointly by NITRO SIBIR ZAO specialists and professionals from Australia.

Reports were also presented on various topics, such as: “Reducing the negative impact of blasting on the ecological situation in the coal-mining regions of Kuzbass”, “Experience of emulsion explosive “Sibirit -1200” type of variable density usage in the quarries of “Karelsky Okatysh”, “Practical Usage of the Software Programme, developed by NITRO SIBIR to calculate the optimal parameters of drilling and blasting operations” and many others.

Representatives of various companies and organizations took an active part in the discussion of the reports presented.
