As part of the project to optimize drilling and blasting operations at the mining enterprises of ERG Group (Eurasian Resources Group) on July 26th 2016 NITRO SIBIR Kazakhstan LLP conducted the first in a series of industrial explosion at Kurzhunkul mine (volume of 68 thousand m3) using emulsion explosives "Sibirit-1200"® and extending the well spacing to 15.4%.

Results of the experimental test blasts by the NITRO SIBIR ZAO's technology of the combined charging using "Sibirit-1200"® conducted in the course of drilling and blasting operations at AO "Karelsky Okatysh" were fixed. The given technology, together with the NITRO SIBIR ZAO's software for calculation of rational parameters of drilling and blasting operations, has improved technical and economic indicators of mining operations.

In February 2016 at the newly built manufacturing plant of NITRO SIBIR ZAO in Neryungri, during the commissioning of the plant, the first 100 tons of emulsion explosives components of ‘Sibirit’ were produced.

In 2015, a branch of NITRO SIBIR ZAO in Neryungri has commissioned a new production capacity, which is able to completely meet the needs of mining companies in industrial explosives of high quality and also in blasting rock mass preparation not only in Neryungri region, but also beyond its territory. The planned annual production - 25 thousand tons of emulsion explosives, 5 thousand tons of packaged explosives and 15 tons of explosives ANFO type.

Start of realization of explosives in Mongolia
The supplies of ammonium nitrate and packaged emulsion explosives are carried out by NITRO SIBIR Mongolia to its warehouse. The realization of explosives to the consumers is started in Mongolia. At present the preparation of granulated explosives production is carried out to pass the State commission.
